Congratulations! You're just a few steps away from your Simple Website!
We need you to answer a couple of quick questions so that we can get your site up and running as quickly as possible. If you need to contact us directly, please create a ticket at our helpdesk - it's the quickest and most certain way to get in touch.
Terms and Conditions:
We will get a preview version of your website working as quickly as possible - usually within 24 - 48 hours of receiving your photos and text. Once the preview site is up, we'll send you a link. You then have 10 working days to request changes.
We will create the following pages on the site, using text and pictures supplied by you:
- A home page. This will usually be a mixture of text and pictures. This page can be as long as you want.
- A contact page. Your contact details will appear here. We will also include a form which allows visitors to send you an email.
- A privacy policy. This is a standard template. The privacy policy is required if you plan to display Google Adsense ads.
- Optionally, an articles page. This page will be for articles, news items or a blog, which you will need to write or have written. Search engines like to see the content on a website being updated regularly, and publishing fresh, unique content is one of the best ways to do that.
If you require any additional pages, you are welcome to add them yourself.
We will need the following from you:
- Text for the home page. This should be around 600 - 1200 words about your products or services.
- 10-12 good quality photographs of your shop, factory or products.
- Your choice for the theme of the site. You can look at our favorite themes here. Alternatively, you are welcome to choose one of the thousands of WordPress themes which are available on the Internet.
If you want us to incorporate your logo or a photo of your choice into the page header, we will do so at no extra charge. You will need to send us a good quality image which can be fitted into the space available.
Once you are happy with the site, we will send you a link to our payment processor. If you would prefer to pay by debit order, we can send you a debit order form. Once your first payment has been made, we will register your requested domain name or provide you with 3 alternatives if the name you request is not available. The domain registration process can take up to 48 hours. We will then transfer your site to the new domain and advise you when it can be accessed.
Changes requested after the 10 day initial period may be charged at R150 an hour.
The R99 package does not include features such as video clips, flash /animation etc. We would be happy to give you a quote for any additional requirements.
The free package includes the registration fee for a co.za domain. If you require a .com, .net, .info, or .org domain an additional once-off fee of R100 will be charged.
The hosting fee includes up to 5 personalized email addresses at your domain name, eg. yourname@yourdomain.co.za.
You will have access to AWStats, a fully featured tool that generates advanced web stats from the server logs in an easy to use graphical format.
Hosting is done on a month to month basis with no contracts.
The hosting price excludes VAT.
Your monthly debit order takes immediate effect once your domain has been registered.
If for any reason your monthly debit order returns a bounced debit will be put through and you will be liable for a R57 administration fee.
If your monthly fee returns for more than 3 consecutive months, access to your web site and email addresses will be terminated and you run the risk of losing your domain name.
In the event of you stopping your monthly debit order without serving your cancellation or notifying us, your account will be terminated.
In the event of a change in your banking details, please fax a revised debit order form to our accounts department.
You can cancel our service at any time by giving us 30 days notice by email or fax. If you want to transfer your website to another web host, we will give you all reasonable assistance to do so.
Your hosting account allows a maximum of 1GB of bandwidth usage per month. If this limit is exceeded, your web page will automatically display an error message until the bandwidth limit is reset at the beginning of the next month. If you need to increase the monthly limit, we will gladly do so at an additional charge.
In order to keep our prices low, we are unable to offer telephone support. You can contact us through our helpdesk or by email. Email support is offered between 9am and 5pm (CAT) on weekdays. We also have a support forum.
